The Hair Options Team was so proud to be able to attend the latest Women's Health In Motion presentation at the McKinney Performing Arts Center on October 7. The event was "Hot Mammas" Breast Cancer Awareness sponsored by NC Women's Health Partners.

It was a hit. The featured speaker Linda Edwards is a breast cancer survivor herself and was animate about sharing her experiences to anyone who might benefit. What a "Hot Mamma".

Dr. Lynn Canavan was so informative as the keynote speaker, answering questions and sharing up-to-date medical/technical information with us. You are not in a lonely battle with cancer when you have Dr. Canavan by your side!

When the night had ended I think that everyone in the room came away with some kind of benefit. Events like these are a great way to meet new people and learn something new.

We here at Hair Options feel that it is crucial to actively sponsor and somehow contribute back to our community, for everyone's benefit.
